5. Antibody test for all. A rabies antibody test, also known as a Rabies Virus Neutralizing Antibody (RVNA) test, is used to determine if an animal or person has developed antibodies to the rabies virus, indicating either prior vaccination or a past infection. This test is crucial for pet travel, especially to rabies-free or controlled countries, and in human diagnostics for assessing vaccination effectiveness or investigating potential rabies exposure.
